    Question missing removable media

    i downloaded and installed ubuntu 8.1 and when i pop in a cd it tells me that it cannot find autorun. i seem to be missing the removable drives and media tab which i'm told should be located under system/preferances. what gives?

    how did you install Ubuntu? Was it with a USB drive...if that's the case typically you have to make some adjustments. please do the following:

    open terminal
    sudo gedit /etc/fstab

    copy and paste that here
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
    Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17
