    Question ubuntu desktop effects could not be enabled in 8.10

    hello friends,

    i am new to ubuntu and linux as well......plzzzzzz help me out i hav the following device::
    my graphic driver memory is 64mb
    ram 256 mb
    processor amd sempron

    video card:
    VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8378 [S3 UniChrome] Integrated Video

    i can not enable even normal effects plzzzzzzzz help me out frnds

    from the quick google search I did, your card does not support the desktop effects of compiz
