[SOLVED] Help! Requires password immediately upon powerup
Help! I just installed Ubuntu on my computer and I went to restart it and it prompted me for a password. It won't let me continue to boot anything without it. Any help would be fabulous. My computer is useless right now.

If it's asking for a BIOS password at system boot, that's not Linux related but BIOS related, and you can check your motherboard manual for instructions on resetting the BIOS.
If it's asking for a Linux password, enter the password you created during the Linux system installation. If you didn't create one, I'd recommend installing again, as there might be other steps that you missed in addition to password creation.oz
