Is there something I should concider ... comparing to standard disk installation....

Just watch the part that says it is not advisable to use a journaled filesystem (like ext3 or reiserfs), or make it write at bigger intervals. Ext2 is safe to use and I think that most netbooks use ext2 instead of ext3.
