    If you format non-linux part of Stick in Windows native filesystem FAT32, then both Windows will detect it automatically. In Linux, whatever filesystem you use, you have to mount that partition manually.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    you mean if i choose half stick i make two partitions , one linux and one unused like a hard drive ? may install in one kubuntu and to other ubuntu ? only one partition may boot the first ?
