    8.10 Release Notes | Ubuntu

    8.04 will get updates longer as it is under LTS (Long Term Support)

    Tabbed browsing in Nautilus, slightly faster boot times, better x server configuration and newer software versions.

    Not enough to upgrade if your happy with Hardy and have it set to how you like it.

    Down side is the problems I have encountered with Pulse Audio 5.1 surround and my audio chipset.
