Unhappy [SOLVED] Adept source list error!!!

Hello to everyone, I'm completely noob with linux and today I installed Kubuntu 8.10 and updated it to KDE 4.2. After the update everything worked like a charm until I tried to install wine. I added some site to third parties and after that I can't use adept package manager for downloading and updating anything. I'm so disappointed of this. Is there a chance of fixing this or reinstalling adept or maybe deleting the source list or just that site from the source list could do the job?

    Here is what I get:

E: Type 'http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt' is not known on line 55 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
    E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Could someone help me with step by step instructions, cause I really don't know anything related to Linux and its distros...

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I found the list and opened, but I don't have permission to change anything. How can I delete that line? How to get permission?

    open it like this:

    open konsole/terminal

    sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

(if you use KDE you use kate instead of gedit)
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17

Can I ask what version of KDE you're using...I know this is unrelated but I'm trying to get a grasp on if people are switching to 4.2. I'm a Gnome user but tried 4.2 and it seems so buggy, want to know if you're experiencing same problems

Yes, I use KDE 4.2. Before upgrading to KDE 4.2 it has some buggs, for example the freezing and after the upgrade it was awesome, but after downloading and installing some applications when I restarted the OS, I can't get to the GUI, I always get some black screen in which I should login and after the login I only get my username, or PC's name and nothing else.
Like a summary of my KDE 4.2 experience it has a lot of bugs, I get tired from them and I deleted the OS, now I'm back to Windows. The Grub boot loader even deleted my Windows boot info, so I had to do a reinstallation. It's so sad cause I really wanted to use Linux, but with this bugs, I'll wait some time when they'll be fixed. Thanks for your help again. But after each download and install there is a new error. Is gnome (Ubuntu) so buggy like KDE (Kubuntu)?

haha NOT AT ALL. Gnome is very very stable, as is KDE 3.5 actually. KDE 4 is a complete upgrade on KDE (everything was done from scratch basically). It's only about a year old and therefore, has a long ways to go. I would definitely suggest trying Ubuntu out (or any other Gnome distro but Ubuntu is my favorite thus far). I was a Windows user until about 6 or 7 years ago. I started dual booting Fedora Core (Gnome), then dual booted with Ubuntu and finally got rid of Windows completely. If I would have started my Linux days with KDE 4 I would still be a Windows person today and that's just sad

Try out Ubuntu and see if you like it. I have tried about 10 distros now (maybe even 15) and I always end up back with Ubuntu. I really like the look of KDE 4 but...it's just too buggy for the time being...plus I have done a lot of cool things with my Gnome to make it look and feel nice.

I've downloaded Ubuntu 8.10, but it has some errors and I can't install it. I'll wait some time until Ubuntu 9.04 comes and surely I'll try dual booting with it
I hope it will be good replacement of Windows, until KDE takes the right way. Thanks for your infromation about Gnome. I hope that wine can be installed there without errors, or there is some good firewall for it (exept guarddog, I really dislike it).
