    New user transfer

    I am using Kubuntu 8 10 and adding a new user. I want to move some of the programs (ie Gnucash) complete with the current data to another user. Make it easy on me if you can I am fairly gnu at Linux.

    It's been a long time since I have used Gnucash, but I think if you look in your (old) home folder, you'll see a .gnucash directory. It's a hidden directory and you won't see it in the terminal unless you use the ls -la command. You might be able to browse there with a file browser and see it. Which ever way you go about it, try copying the .gnucash to your (new) /home folder.
