Playstation 3 ,i need some files

I installed Xubuntu 7.10 on my PS3. All went well. Now to make a long story short,i don't have wireless internet ,nor can i use my modem ,cause it uses my macc adress to login so i can not log in more than one computer. I want to download .deb files of these programs

Important: They must be downloaded from PC to install to Xubuntu via USB
SO the most important is WINE ,all files are needed, i mean every single file of WINE to download.

Second a few emulators files like ZSNES which is a single DEB package ,and GENS ,

PS:Please fast response,as this is my last day of internet, and i will not pay for this month because ,i bought a HDTV and a PS3.

I take it you're probably using this guide? If your modem is close enough to run a cable to the system, (I assume cable Internet modem,) do so. If you then power-cycle the modem it should let your PS3 connect with it. If not, and it truly is setup for MAC address filtering, you could always just spoof your MAC on the PS3, or simply configure your modem to not filter. If you have a router available, that would be a plus too. I HIGHLY recommend trying to connect the PS3 itself to the Internet, rather than make a PC the middle-man. It's worth it to troubleshoot that rather than fuss with the PC.

If the power-cycle doesn't work, post your modem model, ISP, etc. If your modem isn't setup to sign in with a username and password for you, (I.E. some QWest DSL with AOL setups), in which you have to log onto the Internet like in the old days, you'll want to setup the Modem to do that for you.

Anyway, just hope the power cycle approach works and post again if you're still stuck.

thanks for your reply, but i just need the files to download , i don't care if its trouble to make my PC the middle man, please just give me link to the files for PPC of ZSNES,SNES9X, GENS and if possible WINE and all its components. That would be real help for me.If you know them just post the links here please.

I am writing from my cousin PC as i don't have internet now.

And no ,i am not using that guide, i am using a video that showed how to install Xubuntu 7.10 and a video of how to change video to look great by editing the kboot.conf

As far as I can find, ZSNES does not have a PPC architecture build. You'll have to settle for SNES9X, found here. As for WINE, it will not run on the PS3 as per WINE on PS3? - PS3Forums. I don't believe there's a PPC version of Gens either, and it's been discontinued. I don't know if any of them are PPC, but try Sega - Genesis / Sega CD / 32X Emulators - Zophar's Domain for Genesis emulators. That's the best I can do. Good luck!
