Can anyone help me... I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 as my OS, and I'm using vmware to run windows xp for cross browser testing. I'd like to access my localhost server when I'm not connected to the internet.. using my wireless ip... however, it seems like i can only access my localhost directory from IE (running inside vmware) when I'm online... and only when my firewall is down... not ideal! Is there a way to use another IP to access the localhost directory? feel pretty clueless here, so if anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it!
