    USB Keyboard on Laptop

    Hi All,

Does anyone else have problems with shortcuts using an attached keyboard? I have a laptop that all the system shortcuts work well (also happens in some games) but with my attached keyboard they don't work.

    Example:

Alt+F2 does not bring up my run command

in the game Urban Terror none of the F buttons work

Other shortcuts do work such as alt tab so I think it's just linked to my F buttons. Is there a quick fix for this so the laptop and the external keyboard work? Thanks all

On my USB Keyboard there is a key called F-Lock (it is right next to F12). If this is off then the function keys go into an alternate mode and I get exactly these symptoms.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
