    This printer is supported by CUPS.

    Off the Applications Menu -> System (-> Administration) -> Printers

    Should find and set up the printer for you fairly easily.

    HP provided a HP device manager to setup many HP devices
    see for Applications > System Tools > HPLIP Toolbox (if it is installed)

    or

    sudo apt-get install hplip

    Right. I made the assumption hplip would already be installed (it was with my Ubuntu server); it's a commonly installed package with CUPS for compatibility. Any setup issues, you should check. Thank you b2bwild.
