[SOLVED] Trouble with Ubuntu and Cobian

I have a server running Ubuntu Server, latest release. My two other computers are running Vista and I am using Cobian to back them up over the network to a spare drive on the server.
On initial setup in Cobian, I can find the backup location I want to back up to and it asks for a name and password so I enter it and hit the "Save Password" radio button. If I run a backup at that time, it will run flawlessly.
However, if I run it again after either closing Cobian and reopening it or rebooting the computer, it gives me a message "Cannot create the destination directory "\\SERVER\backupdrive".
It's then that I have to go into Cobian, delete the backup destination, and point it to it again. Each time I do it I have to hit the "Save Password" button or it just won't write to the server.
I'm assuming that the problem is that the server wants a user name and password. Is there any way I can get around this, for example allowing the i.p addresses of my two remote computers full access without having to enter a name and password?

    Got it!
For future reference for future users that might have this problem:
It turned out to be a Windows issue. I had not mapped the drive on the server. Once mapped, problem solved!
