scp command on ubuntu
Okay so hi everyone, another newbie ubuntu question.
For my computer science class I had to write a java program. But the problem I have is when i ssh to connect to the school server to hand it in.
Im using putty and i can connect fine but when i try to send a file to the server: itsunix.albany.edu it doesnt work. Im not sure how to go about this.

I know, the man page isn't very informative.

yup the man pages were little help. Thanks alot the tutorial cleared everything up.
