disable unneeded services to speed up Mint
I've got Mint installed on a pretty average Dell server. Just added another 512mb of RAM and I was wondering if there are any ways to speed things up even more.
Maybe disable some unneeded processes or something. Or disable programs that start on boot?
Thanks...

Lets check startup processes. Execute this
Post output here.Code:ls /etc/rc2.d
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
