    Question booting

    hi friends,
    i have 3 operating systems in my pc(mandriva 2008,ubuntu 8.04,windows xp).i installed grub boot loader.by default mandriva get booted.i want ubuntu to get booted by default. what i have to do.

    edit your "default" value in grub.conf/menu.lst of mandriva installation.
    (value starts from 0)

    Open /boot/grub/menu.lst file and count title lines. Set default value to Ubuntu title line number. Start count from zero.
    In case you have any confusion, post the contents of /boot/grub/menu.lst file here.
