    A Little Problem

Hello, i'm trying to dual-boot Ubuntu Linux with Windows XP and i' having an issue. Whenever i boot from disc on startup to install. I get to the menu so i select InstallUbuntu. Simple enough. But then it loads for about 5 minutes and bring me back to a screen that says :

Busybox v1.1.3 (Ubuntu...Built in shell (ash)
    type help for available commands

    (initramfs)

I'm not to sure what it is. How do i get passed this and install ubuntu?

I think you oculd try making another CD and see if that works.

Not sure about his, but I think the installer has a problem with the partitions on your hardrive.
Please run Ubuntu as a LiveCD and in terminal type the following command:

    sudo fdisk -l

post the outcome here. (btw that is a small L, not a 1)
From there we might be able to help you out.
