Google Earth Uninstallation
Hi Guys,
I installed google-earth through the terminal after reading the instructions given by one of the guys on his forums.... Anyways, the software got installed but did not work properly. Next I wanted to uninstall it and I am unable to do it.
I went through the files and found it that google earth is located at
/usr/share/googleearth
but there is no uninstall file out there. So kind of you can say I am stuck out here and do not know as to what to do.
Thanx for your effort in advance

sudo sh /usr/share/ "exact file name of Google-Earth (letter for letter) goes here"/uninstallLinux Registered User # 475019

The sudo sh wherever the file google is located uninstall should work out. It worked for me. I installed it just like you did a long while back and after I found EXACTLY where google file was I did what I showed you and it was gone. Maybe a typo or wrong location is all I can think of. I'm not at my Ubuntu Box right now, I am testing a 15 in 1 DVD from here Ubuntu 4 You: 15 in 1 MultiBoot Linux DVD With Links
anbd am testing out wireless on another Desktop and I am in Puppy Linux right now running live. Maybe some other member will jump in and help you through uninstall. I'm kinda tied up tonight. SorryLinux Registered User # 475019

One question,
Is the application installed in the synaptic package manager list? If so you can remove it from there.
