slip streaming in Linux?
Hey Guys,
I've been trying to find a way to slip stream cd's/DVD's using Linux, Ubuntu 7.10
I don't want to go back to windows just for that.
Does anyone know of a piece of software in Linux that can do it?
I've been reading up on remastersys but it just creates images of Linux, not allowing the alteration of the image.
Please advise.
Thanks

I believe that you must first mount the .iso file using the loop back, chroot into the mounted directory and install / remove software from there. Once you are finished you make an iso from the directories.
I can't be more specific as I'm still trying to figure it out myself...

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Remastersys
Hi you can use ISO Master but what do you want to do if you want to make your own linux cd with all your favorite programms remastersys wil do just that if you want to change the existing ISO ISO master will do that.
Remastersys makes install cd or dvd of your existing distro running, so wen your system is completle configured run remastersys the next time you install wit remastersys ISO and it is the same configuration, reconfigure your interface. all programs ar installed.
Have funn,
