Updating offline PC
I have a PC at office which is OFFLINE.... I got it to my home and updated the ubuntu 8.10 on it... but at times I need some program to be installed or even need the safety updates on it. I tried to download softwares from the net and then take them to office in a pen drive.... but could not work it out properly as some or the other dependency was always missing.....

Is there some method to continue to keep my offline PC updated and install new softwares in it?

It looks like nonetdebs is no more alive.
While using APTonCD for updates is kinda tricky.
I will try to find a substitute
