    Question ubuntu 8.10 grub loader problem

    hi frens, i got a strange problem when i tried to insatll ubuntu 8.10 in my system. there will not be error while installing .... the grub loader also installed without any problem..but after that when i restart the system in the boot menu ubuntu 8.10 wont be listed .... what can i do... any suggestion... im using ubuntu 8.04 and windows xp ..... but whenever i installed that inside the windows there will not be any problem ...

    What other options appear in GRUB Menu? Post the output of sudo fdisk -l command here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
