Ubuntu booting failure
Ubuntu hardy is not booting up.The error message comes as :

Did you make a system disk? An emergency disk or stick? There was an option during install

Is it a fresh installation? Boot up in Recovery/Rescue Mode and execute fsck command on each partition.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
