    Unhappy Ubuntu getting stock

    Hello guys
    I installed ubuntu 8.10, I have a vaio vng cr220e I had issues with the video driver and installed the Intel one and now the problem is solved, but since then Ubuntu is getting stock it crashes and I need to restart my computer because is not doing anything, does somebody know how to fix the issue?

    Execute this
    Code:
    sudo lspci | grep -i vga
    Post output here.

    Execute top command and check which process is using highest CPU cycles.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    but when ubuntu crashes I can't do anything, and when I restart my compute it only works for almost 10 minutes and then crash

    Boot up in Command Line Mode or press Alt+Ctrl+F1 at Login Screen. It will switch to tty1. Press Alt+Ctrl+F7 to switch back to GUI.
