    How to save the vedio coming from vlc streaming server?

    Two computers, one is vlc streaming server, the other one is client.

    client is watching vedio coming from server (MPEG2 file, using udp), is there way I can save the vedio on the client side ?

    VLC has a streaming/transcoding wizard.
    It was created specifically for what you're doing.

    It's not so great for file to file transcoding.
    It's best suited for saving network streams.
    It has alot of options and formats for this purpose.
    Pretty sure it's in the file or edit menu.
