How do you delete a tar Ubuntu 810 OS backup?..
I ran a tar backup, but during it's copying process I noticed it was copying an image CD download that I shouldn't have left on the desktop, and my gigs of music, and many megs 1500 pix, and a lot of games files that I thought I had uninstalled, and a lot of printer files and drivers that I really don't need in this OS.. I use an HP 3in1, the rest I don't want in the OS...
I want to delete the tar backup and all that junk.. then do a clean tar backup to a bootable CD, so I can reinstall Ubuntu as I like it whenever it gets messed up, and to uinstall it like I likes it to this drawer full of hd's...
The way it sits, it seems I'll have to reinstall Ubuntu to get it back to normal, without all the mess I've created in this install...
Is there a code that gets me to that sloppy tar backup..? and a code that destroys it..?
