    Open Synaptic, do a search for Chess. Select a 3D client to install (Brutal Chess is pretty good, if you have decent hardware).

    i installed 3D chess from synaptic and when i open my chess and select 33D chess ( from view Tab) it is giving me an error message

    No python OpenGL support
    No python GTKGLExt support

    Which Graphics Card do you have? Have you installed its driver?
