    Windows, Blue screen

    Hello,

    I need help, when I try to boot windows it shows up with a blue screen saying: "Unmountable_boot_volume".

    Safe mode does not help :S

    Now I'm running linux where I have no problem to acces my hard disc, but I would very much like to get my computer up an running again in windows.. Have lost my install-disc for windows :/

    Can anybody help me with this?

    At the risk of repeating myself as I have mentioned this already today, but download supergrubdisk, burn it onto CD, and boot off that CD. use enter tab and cursor keys to navigate around. You should be able to at least get into windows from there, and I think it can repair a fair amount of oddness re bootable partitions gone wonky. There are plenty of instructions on its use from http://www.supergrubdisk.org as well as a forum as well.

    Something is wrong with Hard disk or Partition(s). Do you have LiveCD of any Linux distro? Boot up from LiveCD and execute this in Terminal :
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    Post output here.
