    Welcome to LinuxForums!

    nVidia drivers should be located in your Package Manager. Open up Synaptic and take a look there for them.

    To launch Synaptic, choose System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager on the desktop menu system.

    Ubuntu will not install the nvidia driver unless you expressly tell it to. Did you read the link I posted?

    Anyway, all you need to do is open a terminal and type this
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx

    If you accept nvidia's license agreement, which presumably you do if you want to use their driver, say yes.
