    I'm a wireless n00b

I bought a Toshiba L-305-5919 a few days ago, and decided to dual boot with Ubuntu. It was my first time dual booting, and since I am fairly new to Linux in general, i consider it an accomplishment . I couldnt get the wireless to work, so i installed linux-backports-modules-intrepid like i read somewhere and, after a reboot, everything worked fine. Well, that was yesterday. I came home from work today to find that wireless no longer worked. I know it's not the laptop, because I checked in Vista and everything is fine. If any of you Guru's could instruct me on some other options to try, I would be ever so grateful.

P.S. I am very close to dropping windows altogether, but little details like this is what keeps me here til I learn more.
