    Hello,
    I disabled the USB support while i build the kernel.After that i planned to make my USB port to work by inserting the modules manually.
    May i know, what are all the modules is used to make USB to work?

    When you are building the config for usb, instead of just disabling it, why don't you specify to have it built as modules. I don't think the modules will be built unless you specify them, so by disabling it you are making it impossible to use USB. Also, is there a real necessity to a custom kernel on ubuntu?

    Yes..Actually i have to do like this. Doing some research on it. Thas why i used to do like this. I think that its possible.
