    Try
    These commands
    echo value > /sys/module/gspca/parameters/gamma
    or
    echo value > /sys/module/gspca_main/parameters/gamma
    replace value with number -10 to +10 for more gamma.

    EDIT:
    I'm not sure but this trick works on my Logitech and iBall webcams.
    Never make any misteaks.

    what are you using it with? skype? Try camorama to see if it'll adjust right for you, then go from there
