Hot to I set the BIOD to boot from the DVD?
I have fedora 10 which has consistently failed to find the driver for my wireless card. (Belkin WiFi FSD7001 G Plus Card) I am told that Ubuntu does such things better.
I have downloaded Ubuntu 8 onto a DVD using my Win XPs operated PC and now trying to load it onto the PC on which I have already install Fedora10. I have gone into the BIOS and entered the 'Advanced BIOS Features.
Under Hard Disk Boot Priority there are 2 options:
1) Ch90 m. : ST3200822A
or
2) Bootable Add-in Cards
How do I direct it to the DVD drive? Thee doesn't seem to be an option!
Any advice gratefully received.

This may sound like a silly question, but do you have the DVD in the drive when you are trying to set the option? My own PCs only show up the option to boot from a device when it contains media.

Ok - using my USB card have finally managed to boot the PC with Ubuntu. Now tryign to install the OPsys on my PC. First attempted failed and it kept saying 'error 13' on each boot. So I am now re-installing..
Hopefully if that works what is the next step in loading a the Belkin Wireless card. I just know it isn't going to be plain sailing!
Thanks
