Moitor traffic of remote host
Basically what I want to do is listen to the traffic that is flowing from my home when I am "outside" of the network. I can already do this by SSHing into one of the computers, but I was wondering if it is possible to do this without having to log in, assuming that whatever port I'm using isn't filtered at the location I'm at.
My router-modem is an old POS that doesn't do remote administration, so that's out.
This seems like a task that would be quite useful, but I haven't read anything about it. Theoretically it should be possible to do without even installing anything on the "remote" (ie "home") side, but nobody seems to mention that. Is it because people think it will make them look like they are actually wanting to spy on other people or am I just looking in the wrong places? :P
