    can't install GRUB

    while installing ubuntu it shows error at 94 % "fatal error ocuurred(hd 0) ,can't install GRUB "

    Try the install without installing grub ... then manually install it afterwards.
    If you get the install process completed and need help with the manual install of grub, while running from the live CD open a terminal and post the output of
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    the -l has a small L rather than a one.
