Hi All,

My girlfriend has had this issue for some time and I've been too busy with other things to really look into it. She has the Toshiba A135 and uses Amarok for music. Her problem is that it randomly freezes or a song will skip at random points for no reason, sometimes that freeze is system wide and lasts 10-30 seconds. Now she's using rythmbox but really doesnt like it so I'm hoping I can get it solved, what I've tried:

fresh install of Ubuntu then amarok
completely removing Amarok then installing it

that's about it, the songs aren't corrupt so I have no idea what's doing this
