Problem with Ubuntu 8.10 installation..
I have install Ubuntu 8.10 in my pc with 100% installation.But after installation ubuntu isn't working. When i put username and password in login frame, it took my username and password but i didn't get ubuntu desktop. Just i got blank desktop with mouse pointer only.
What to do?
I have install ubuntu with wibi.
And my pc config is:
1.9 ghz
512 RAM
And 80GB hdd.

Which Graphics Card do you have? Press Alt+Ctrl+F2 at Login screen. Does it switch to command line mode?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
