Acer Aspire One 150 Atheros Wireless Device Problem
Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire One 150. It is equipped with the following wireless device:
Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter
I have read quite a few article and forum threads on this issue and haven't managed to solve it. Could anyone please help me out.
Thanks and regards,
Krt_Malta
PS. I have attached two text files, with the computer details and drivers loaded.

You should be able to get this card working using the ath5k drivers.
How to get Atheros AR5007EG or AR242x wireless cards (may be other models) working in Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex)|Ubuntu Geek

Try jaunty, wifi works out of the box or if you intend to stay with intrepid try ndisgtk with the windows drivers.

You can choose between. All works on my A150. But i'm using the stock driver, but have blacklisted acer_wmi.
