Jaunty Update Manager
Anyone else seeing that you don't get notifications when there are updates available? I was surprised today when I didn't get one because final release was put out, then I manually went into the update manager and there were about 15 updates. By default in previous versions this feature was on...am I missing something?

I know in 8.04 which was an LTS release the default behaviour was to only offer LTS distro upgrades. Do you have that option set in Synaptic? Maybe if you had previously upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04 the option is still set.
