[SOLVED] Ubuntu Help?

Hey, I recently Started using Ubuntu, But i've been using Windows for years.... So i need a little help.

Installing with ubuntu is Strange, i tryed to download Java and Flash first off, and Ubuntu wont run the files. (wont run as an application/Wants to use another program to open) Also, i like to play some MMORPGs, I'm not sure how i would download and install it..

I need an anti virus and a fire wall also...

I'd recommend installing software with Synaptic, unless you want to do it through the command line using Apt. You can check this guide for lots of good help on getting your system up and running, and tweaked:
