    Firefox password reminder not working

    Hello,

(note: sorry if this is problem relevant to Ubuntu)

I'm using Firefox (v 3.0.9) under Kubuntu (just update to v9.04) and activated the password reminder (via Preferences -> Security -> Remember passwords for sites)
    but no password are rembered.

This functionality was working previously (unfortunately I cannot state when it start to stop).
It was already not working before my upgrade to v9.04.

    Thanks for any clue.
    Bye,
    Bruno

No, unfortunately there are no exceptions define for any sites.
Even add-on like Gmail Manager don't remember the passwords for my mailboxes.

I remember once I read that Firefox menus only present basic settings, more are accessible via a something command entered on the URL. Does anyone knows this ? Thanks for attention.

Once you remove the exception and go to the site and login firefox will ask you to save password or never for this site or not now.
and firefox can be completely configured from Edit >> Preferences
    Never make any misteaks.

Also, when you are closing Firefox, do you have it set to clear all private data... including passwords?
Other than what's been suggested, that's all I got right now.

No I did not set 'Always clear private date when closing Firefox'.
(and also the password clearing option is no set in this setting) so the non-persistence of my password is still weird...

About Firefox settings the full parameters are accessed via
    'about:config' typed in the URL.
All paramters are there, but of course, modifications are on your risks....

    Bye,
    Bruno
