Have anybody tried out the printing system in 9.04
My greatest problem with Intrepid was the malfunctioning printing system. I have an old HP LaserJet 6L, which works with almost all distributions but Ubuntu Intrepid. There were troubles with printing since 6.10. I wonder if they solved it this release. Thanks for any shared experience!

Have you ever tried HPLIP?
Your HP LasterJet 6L should work fine almost perfectly
as an option you can use ljet4 or gutenprint drivers.
but HPIJS is recommanded.

yeah I think that with a little patience you could get it working in Intrepid but you can easily try the live Jaunty distro and see what you get
Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17

Well, I'm right now wrestling with Xubuntu 9.04. I can't install my HP 6L printer, or I simply don't know how to do, but the system argues around a cups error. Still not solved printing?
