can't play legit cd ( .wav ) in Ubuntu ??

    Hi Guys,

I can't seem to find a Gnome equivalent to amarok that will play my library of CD's
as many of you are aware amarok 2 was released and there's no support in gnome for it.
I've tried to run the Cd's from exaile, rhythm box, and banshee.
I can get files to come up in totem but only one at a time, it won't play the whole cd.

anyway I thought exaile would do it, but it allows me to browse to the CDrom but doesn't see the disc?

any hints or tips, maybe something I'm missing.

I'm Running Jaunty and wondering also if there's a way I can download the older version of Amarok ? It just worked!!!

you can use Amarok in Ubuntu, it'll just install a few KDE libraries.

    also run this:

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17

Have you tried out VLC in Synaptic? After installing VLC change prefered application (open with) with VLC.
