[SOLVED] nothing is opening under the "places" tab
I go and click on places then get a bunch of menu options like docs pics vids, and my hard drives with computer then when I try to open them it just says like "starting computer" in the taskbar or what ever you call it in ubuntu and never opens, then it just goes away so I cant ever get into my files
(I am a real noob at linux, I have only been messing with it for a few hours)

Go in Applications >> Accessories >> Terminal.
type in.
# nautilus --no-desktop

I went to terminal, copy and pasted that in then pressed enter and nothing changed.
and also I am using the new 9.04 version sorry I did not say that before

well i just rebooted and it magicly all works lol ty for help
