and this is just a chapter of Linux in a Nutshell, which is available to read in html format. There is a link to it on the same website. I found version 2 to be good when I was learning. Version 5 seems to be better. I use it as an online reference.Registered Linux User #420832

Check linuxcommand.org for basic linux commands.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
