I'm on the new 9.02 just reloaded from 8.0. I think its really great still having to tweek the display in my IBM Thinkpad to get my true res but what ya going to do if thats the worst I'll live. Have a few customers who are interested in possible upgrade so lets see how it goes. The only thing bad is you still need to manually load the ubuntu server gui wish that was standard I love command line but most of my customers hate it. Let me know what you guys think

There is no version 9.02 neither 8.0,
Linux is famous for servers because its lightweight and optimizable.
If you want a GUI+Server like something SLES/RHEL is better choice.
However I would prefer to build my simple server on Debian optimized install(no gui).
I use RHEL/CentOS when there is need of something like clustering or RHEL specific developement
There may be different opinions on this forums.
