    New Server. LTS or 9.04??

I am deploying a production lamp server and am wondering if it would be better to go with the 8.04 LTS version, or to get the latest version 9.04. The server will likely be in place for quite some time.

8.04 server edition is supported until 2013, and 9.04 until 2010, so I guess it depends on 1) whether there is any functionality added in 9.04 that you need, and 2) when you're willing to upgrade.

I didn't see any additional functionality that we would need, so I think we likely will stick with the one that has longer support.

If anyone knows anything I may be missing out on in 9.04 please let me know.
