    ATI configuration

    I have installed the ATI Proprietry Driver but the aticonfig command to run at the end does not seem to make any difference at all.

    I have viewed threads on configuring the ati driver and tried many things but so far with no success and the latest position I'm in is I'm in low graphics mode with a 600 x 800 display. Worse than when I started.

    Can any one help with configuring the ati driver or at least getting back to a decent screen resolution?

    Please help.

    Post the contents of /etc/X11/xorg.conf file here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
