    Where do Install WINE programs?


    Ok, downloaded Steam and I'm in the installer through WINE. Since Steam usually installs in the "Program Files" folder, where do I install it in Ubuntu? Is there an equivilant "Program Files" folder in Linux?

    In your Program Files, in wineroot

    there is .wine directory under your home directory
    under .wine there is drive_c, which is treated as your drive C:
    if you select by default path it will be installed to

    /home/you/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam
    Never make any misteaks.
