Myspace apps
hello I'm a new ubuntu user and am trying to learn. Things are going ok for the most part. The problem I'm having right now is the apps on my MySpace Page. They are not working. They work just fine with my windows system. Is there something in the package manager that I'm suppose to install? maybe something in the firefox preferences, Perhaps? Any help will be appreciated.
I did try to search your forums for an answer and came up empty.
thank you in advance

I also use Firefox on Ubuntu, and some web apps just don't run properly (they work well on my pc with the same version of Firefox).
The workaround I had was install various other browsers including IE with WINE for active X controls.

For the flash based apps, you'll likely need to update to the latest Adobe flash (Ubuntu comes with an open Generic version which isn't so capable). Try installing the following:
flashplugin-nonfree
via Synaptic Package Manager.
