[SOLVED] trying to download Ubuntu
I am a computer idiot, and I have foolishly decided to stray from Windows and want to run my laptop with Ubuntu. I have tried to downloaded Ubuntu 9.04, but the CD installer on my laptop right now only "copies" the file onto the CD as is instead of as an "image". This means nothing to me, but it appears that I have to fix this before I am able to continue. Can anyone provide some assistance?

That did the trick. That the image burn was successful, and then the installation was quick and easy. Thank you
